Three separate parcels of farmland in the eastern NMRogers community located south of Portales in Roosevelt County SOLD
This farmland is as good as it comes in eastern New Mexico, very good wheat, milo land -- currently farmed by an excellent tenant willing to consider continuing arrangements. Prefer to sell as one unit but would discuss options for disposition. Parcel #1
320 acres just one mile off pavement west of Rogers currently in wheat with good moisture, it is up and coming on fast. Medium sandy to sandy loam - very good. Pay the tenant for plowing and sowing and assume full ownership or assume landlord positionl. $350 per acre Parcel #2
157 acres east of Rogers and 1/2 mile off the pavement. This land is somewhat tighter than Parcel #1 but can produce well. It is currently in milo and most likely will be harvested soon so buyer can take possession entirely or assume landlord position. $300 per acre Parcel #3
676 acres east of Rogers laying along side NM 235. This parcel is known as the "long section" because it is 2 miles by 1/2 mile, plus some additional acres. Presently sown to wheat this field is about as good as it gets for productive land and convenience of operation. We have watched this land produce for years and it can turn the crank given half a chance. This field ranges from tight and black on the east to somewhat more sandy loam texture to the west end. $375 per acre
